The Ocho Sur Group holds the Carbon Measured® certification issued by Green Initiative, an international organization specialized in carbon footprint verification and climate commitment. The certification, issued in July 2025 with validity until July 2026, accredits the measurement and verification of the Group's Corporate Carbon Footprint for the 2023 reporting period, quantified at 29,323.52 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent. The scope of measurement comprises the three scopes established by international methodology for greenhouse gas accounting: Scope 1 (direct emissions), Scope 2 (indirect emissions from energy consumption), and Scope 3 (indirect emissions throughout the value chain) in full coverage, which constitutes the most demanding level of assessment under this type of methodology. The Carbon Measured® seal entails independent verification of the data reported by the Group, as well as the assumption of the corresponding mitigation commitment. This measurement establishes the baseline for the monitoring and progressive reduction of the Group's emissions in subsequent periods.
